Question of the Day

What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done in public? The
embarrassinger the better.

Okay, I can't pass this one up. I was about nineteen and it was April Fools Day. That really has nothing to do with the story itself, but I just remember the day. A bunch of us were on a city bus heading to the tech school where we were going to school. Someone made a comment about cows, and just in fun called me a cow. I took the bate, and rather lowdly I proclaimed to the bus at large, "I'm a Holstein!" Well, the bus got really quiet and I probably turned beat red. Then I went and made things worse by actually mooing. I was never more glad to get off the bus than i was that day, but people still can't resist reminding me of this from time to time.

Okay, so today's a two-for-one. Valentine's Day, 1996. I guess I was kind of weird when I was nineteen. A bunch of friends and I went out to a restaurant for dinner. I was living in an apartment and everyone else was living in a dorm, and the buses stopped running at 6:30. Time was getting short, and the bus I needed to take only came around once, so it was really important that I be on it. The waiter came around with our checks and said that he would come back around to collect the money. Well, I opened my mouth and said the first thing that came to mind. "Well, can't you do me now?" The entire group just started to laugh, and I had the overwhelming desire to crawl under the table and never come out again.
I have always been afraid of/not liked bees. Back in high school (I forget what grade I was in) I was walking around outside, there were a number of people outside as well. A bee starts buzzing and flying at me and wouldn't go away. So instead of being calm about it I was trying to dodge it/run away. They probably thought I was really really goofy.
This one time, I wore a shirt with the wrong color bra to church, and the bra was completely visible. Hugs!
