Corner Gas

Well, the first episode of Corner
Gas
aired last night on CTV. It was great having the show back, all
of its characters still intact, Brent not having sold out to the Pump 'n
Go chain, and Lacey not having moved back to Toronto.

This episode started off a tad slow, but it picked up nicely. The good
thing is, now I only have to wait six days until the next episode, not
six months, as I'd had to do in March after the Gopher It episode aired.

Heroes

Well my man, Heroes was better than Corner Gas. *smiles with tongue out* Man that's a good show. I think, for the first time, I really get it when folks like you and other people who are huge fans or addicted to a certain television show, rave on about it so much. And I bet if I asked you what it was about CG that really dragged you in, you might not be able to tell me. I don't know if I could tell you in say fifty words or less what's so awesome about Heroes. So I'll listen to you rave about CG if you put up with my Heroes mania. I do not know though if we'll ever get audio descriptions of Heroes. It would be nice, but with the Japanese and now Spanish translations that need to be crawled across the screen, the uses of imaging and mirrors to tell part of the story, it might be too difficult unless they paused the story to do it, wich would mean specialized DVDs. I'd buy them though. And the guy who plays Sulu on Star Trek is back on Heroes, and they better not have killed him last night, or I'll be upset. He is so sexy I cannot even begin to tell you!! (Not that you wanted to know that of course, but I am blathering in an attempt to crack a smile on your face.) Yeah, so George Takei has got this incredibly sexy voice, it drives me damned wild! Too bad women aren't his thang, but that's what fantasies are for, right? *giggles*
Okay, I'll shut up now, but if you didn't laugh, I'm going to come over there and do some butt whuppin'. I like the happy fun-loving Bruce, though I understand that we cannot always be this way, and that's fine too.
Here's something you can dwell on!
Tell me in how many minutes you will be seeing CG again. Assuming that you are 3 hours ahead of me-I am on Pacific Daylight Time, as I post this comment the time is 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25.
This is your challenge of the year.

Re: Heroes

He's gay? I didn't know that. But okay. To answer your question, we're two hours ahead of you, so at the time of writing, it was 11:15 here. From then until the next CG episode was six days, nine hours, fifteen minutes, or 153 hours, fifteen minutes, or 9195 minutes. To that we have to add the consideration that, because I watch it over Skype, I have to record it first so the other person can get it. This means an extra 45 minutes or so, so we wind up with 9240 minutes before I see the nesxt CG episode. How'd I do?

Re: Heroes

Dang! I am impressed. Good going. How long did it take you to do that?
Yeah, Takei's gay. I found it out only recently. But hey, that doesn't stop my fantasies. *giggles*

Re: Heroes

Took me about a minute and a half. I'll be honest and admit I used Windows Calculator. Great little program!

Re: Heroes

Calculators ... They sure do work better than my brain when it comes to math. SMILE!

Re: Heroes

My math sucks and I know it. *HUGS*

Re: Heroes

You cheated! *LOL* Next time I will have to be more clear, I wanted you to do it in yoor head. *vbg*

Re: Heroes

Well forget that! The day I do unnecessary math in my head is the day I start drinking Pepsi.
