Where'd the Weekend Go?

So Saturday night, I set my alarm before going to bed. funblindsinger can testify to this, as I was on Skype with her at the time. What I failed to do was to turn the alarm on once it was set. So, with a 9:28 pick-up for church, I reached consciousness at 9:07. Luckily, I'm an evening showerer, so I didn't have to worry about that. I was up, dressed, and out the door and ready to go when my ride arrived. I omitted the shaving. Nobody complained, thank you, the gracious people of Morrow Gospel church.

This afternoon I fell asleep in front of the TV, which might go some way toward explaining why I'm up writing LJ entries instead of dreaming blissfully. I awoke at around 5:30, stumbled to the computer, changed my primary e-mail address (this is how I fritter away a Sunday afternoon, you see), and then it was back on Skype for a pleasant evening. Hey, the Bombers won, I totally forgot about the game.
So now here I sit, sipping (get this) a bottle of ... what's that stuff called? It's in lakes and rivers, mixed in with the industrial waste ... um ... fish crap in it ... uh, water, that's it. I can't drink tap water, I hate the taste of chlorine. My dad was alergic to the stuff, so I was spoiled at home with filtered, softened water.
Well, if I'm not awake tomorrow at work, my boss might not be so willing to give me a good reference for the new job I'm applying for.

Those of you who pray, please pray for me as I have to sit through at least another week of wondering about the job at the Department of Education. I want it so badly.

Have a great day everyone.

Here I Am Again

Nothing much to report, really. I'm alone in the building, about to get back into that math course again. Nothing even came in the mail for me today. Bleh! The way this are going, I wouldn't be surprised to come home and find out my apartment building had burnt down or something.

The Subway People Amaze Me

Subway for supper. Or at least it would be. But we get there, and they don't have bread! Isn't that kind of like a McDonald's with no grease?
