Shaw Communications Redeems Itself

A few weeks ago I wrote a less-than-flattering account of my experiences trying to get Internet and phone services from Shaw Communications. Indeed, things were looking rather grim. I am happy to report that things have made a pretty dramatic turn for the better in this respect.

I was able to e-mail back and forth with Shaw. I was able to describe my experiences with them to them, and I received what I believe to be a sincere apology. The person with whom I was in contact netogiated with me, entirely through e-mail a new date and time for installation, and I was given back all the promotions to which I was entitled.

The installer came at the appointed time on the appointed day and got everything hooked up. There was initially a mistake made, but the installer came back the same day and fixed everything. Shaw's online customer service options are excellent, and very accessible. The quality of service has also been excellent. It took a little while to get to where I want to be, but now that I'm here, I'm very happy with what I've got. You hear so many complaints from people about services and companies, I wanted to give a success story.
