Toews on the Waves: Always a Temperate Zone

As we head into the weekend, should it be any surprise to you that we're also heading into another fun-filled episode of Toews on the Waves? Well, it's happening, and it's happening on Sunday on the Worldwide Legend.

This week on the show, we feature songs about temperature. We're sure you'll warm to this cool subject soon enough, because we've got all sorts of temperatures covered. I want to thank all the great people on Twitter who offered their excellent suggestions as I put this segment together. Did I use your song? Guess you'll have to tune in and find out. But rest assured, I sure appreciated the suggestion.

We also have our usual features: Songs I Can't Stand, Ripley's Believe it or Not, the Mooth Meditative Moment, and a whole lot more, including a whole stack of your requests. Thanks so much, everyone, for clling in your requests, for making them via Twitter, and for sending them in by e-mail.

We start the second hour with an episode of My Favorite Husband starring Lucille Ball and Richard Denning, and we conclude with an episode of the Jack Benny Show, starring Jack Benny.

All this comes your way on Sunday, right after Jonathan Mosen's fascinating documentary about British offshore pirate radio, "Offshore On-Air", which airs on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Eastern, in the Mosen Explosion time-slot. I hope you'll join me, then, on Sunday evening as we explore temperature on Toews on the Waves.

Toews on the Waves can be heard Sunday evenings from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Eastern, or 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Central, 5-7 PM Mountain, or 4-6 PM Pacific. To listen, direct your browser to http://www.billsparks.org. Click on The Legend, and then choose your favorite media player.
