Bruce, Caroline

A Song Parody about Caroline

Caroline and Brucie were lovers,
She thought that he was quite a bloke,
She wanted him to have lots of things,
But most of all, a can of Coke,

She saw a sign for a Wal-Mart sale,
A twelve-pack for two bucks, it read,
She couldn't call Brucie using Skype,
So she DMed Shannone, and she did type,

Tell Brucie I love him,
Tell Brucie I need him,
Tell Brucie to stay awake,
I've caffeine to buy, that cannot wait.

She took a cab to the Wal-Mart store,
She was the youngest woman there,
She looked everywhere for the sale-priced case,
Down the aisles she ran at a deadly pace,

No one knows who switched the signs,
But Pepsi's what they sold to Caroline,
Bruce took one sip and started to choke,
And Caroline said, looking for a Coke,

Tell Brucie I love him,
Tell Brucie I need him,
Tell Brucie not to die,
They said it was Coke,
I would not lie.

Now in E.R., where Brucie lies,
Tears coming to Caroline's eyes,
It was just for Brucie that she'd gone to shop,
And she cried as she prayed that his heart wouldn't stop,

Tell Brucie I love him,
Tell Brucie I need him,
Tell Brucie not to die,
They said it was Coke, I would not lie.

It wouldn't be right for me to sing it. I could probably find the backing track, but someone else'd have to sing it. Glad you enjoyed it, it was fun to write.
