Toews on the Waves, Guilty Pleasures Edition

Of course, no one should feel guilty about liking (or disliking, for that matter) a piece of music. We all have different tastes and preferences. Nonetheless, there are some songs we kind of feel a little sheepish about admitting we like. These songs are called guilty pleasures, and it is guilty pleasures that we will be featuring this Saturday on Toews on the Waves.

So here's what I'm asking of you. Let me know about your guilty pleasures. If you want to remain anonymous, just say so, and I'll honor that. You're free to list as many guilty pleasures as you want, but I'll be picking one per person. I'll also be playing a few of my own guilty pleasures too. E-mail is the best way to get your guilty pleasures to me, so please get them in to Name the song or songs from which I can choose, and let me know if you want to be anonymous. If you don't tell me you'd prefer to be anonymous, then I'll assume you don't want to be.

Of course, that's only the theme, so if you have other requests you'd like played on the show, then by all means let me know and I shall do what I can. We have no Valentine's theme on the show, but that doesn't mean you can't send out a dedication or three. All of my usual methods of communication will be available to you. You can e-mail; you can call the request line at (206) 203-3070; or you can send a tweet via Twitter to username @brucetola.

Whether or not you submit a guilty pleasure and whether or not you submit a request, I do hope you'll join me on Saturday at 5:00 PM Eastern for the greatest in oldies, novelty music, and then some as we bring you another edition of Toews on the Waves on Mushroom FM:
